MISSION: Our mission is to positively impact, empower, and uplift the deaf community by advancing inclusivity, ensuring food security, advocating for equal opportunities, promoting reading literacy, and enhancing accessibility.

VISION: The PIC Foundation is dedicated to bridging the gap for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community, fostering inclusion through action, resources, and advocacy. We aim to empower individuals to fully participate in society, building on the progress of pioneers while driving further integration and meaningful change.
Purpose
PURPOSE: The PIC Foundation is committed to enriching the lives of deaf and hard-of-hearing (DHH) children and strengthening their communities by providing critical resources, education, and support. Our purpose is to create a nurturing environment that enables these children to flourish academically, socially, and emotionally, empowering them to realize their full potential.
Endeavor
The PIC Foundation is establishing a Resource Center dedicated to equipping individuals with essential skills and support for a brighter, self-sufficient future. Our center will offer educational opportunities, job readiness training, resume building, employable skill development, computer literacy, and much more to help individuals become empowered and active members of their communities.
BIPOC
The PIC Foundation is dedicated to empowering deaf and hard-of-hearing children, youth, and their families, with a focus on underserved communities. In California, nearly 70% of deaf children belong to Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities, and many face systemic barriers. Shockingly, over 50% of these families live below the poverty line, grappling with limited access to resources, education, food, and support. Our mission is to bridge this gap, ensuring these children and their families have the tools they need to thrive.
